Take the futon wata(cotton fiber batts) out of a plastic bag.
It is folded.

Don't worry! The futon wata can spin by normal spinning wheels. (I use Hansen crafts "Minispinner" and Ashford "Traditional".)
紡ぎます！ 糸車（日本古来の綿用紡ぎ車）をもっていなくても大丈夫です。
私はアシュフォード社の「トラディショナル」やハンセンクラフツ・ジャパンの「ミニスピナー」で問題なく紡いでいます。

Otherwise, you can make short length sliver if you want spin from it. その他、ローラッグやプーニ―を作らず、スライバ―状にして梳毛のようにも紡げます。 手のひら幅に裂いた繊維を、さらに（扱いやすいように）細く裂きます。
